Our Philosophy: Data, Not Opinions
Albion Online has a complex, player-driven economy and high-stakes combat where decisions matter. Many existing community tools gate essential market data and profit calculators behind monthly subscriptions or premium tiers.
AlbionMeta is built on a simple principle: every tool and calculator should be 100% free and driven by public data. We do not invent rankings, fake user votes, or hide profit margins behind a paywall.
Where the data comes from
All information displayed across AlbionMeta is computed from public data:
- Item Definitions & Recipes: From game data files published by the community project ao-bin-dumps. Item names come from the game's official localization files across all 15 supported languages.
- Market Prices: Sourced through the Albion Data Project from prices uploaded by players who run the Albion Data Project client across Americas, Europe, and Asia servers.
- Combat & Meta Rankings: Computed algorithmically from the official Albion Online Killboard API events, analyzing gear frequencies, average item power, and group sizes.
