How We Calculate Cooking Profit

1. Resource Return Rate (RRR)

Albion Online uses a diminishing returns formula for production bonuses:RRR = B / (1 + B) where B is the sum of active production bonuses.

  • Caerleon Food Specialty: Caerleon grants a +15% specialty crafting modifier for food on top of the base 18% royal city bonus (B = 0.33 → RRR = 24.81%).
  • With Crafting Focus: Focus adds +59% production bonus (B = 0.33 + 0.59 = 0.92 → RRR = 47.92% in Caerleon).
  • Effective Ingredients Consumed: For returnable ingredients with count C, net consumed equals C × (1 - RRR).

2. Station Usage Fee

Crafting station plots consume nutrition proportional to the item value:Nutrition = ItemValue × 0.1125. Station fee equals Nutrition × (UsageFee / 100).

3. Marketplace Taxes

  • Setup Fee: 2.5% paid on order creation (Sell Order mode).
  • Transaction Tax: 4% with active Premium status, 8% without Premium.
  • Instant Sell: Transaction tax only (no setup fee).
