How Market Flipping Is Calculated
All market order data comes directly from our dedicated Albion Data Project snapshot stream throughcdn.albionmeta.net, refreshed every 5 minutes from player uploads.
- Instant Flips: Calculated by taking the lowest available sell order in the source city and matching it against the highest active buy order in the target city. You buy and sell instantly with zero listing wait time.
- Sell Order Flips: Calculated by taking the lowest available sell order in the source city and assuming you transport and list a new lowest sell order in the target city. These show estimated profits because your order must wait for buyers.
- Black Market Flips: Instant arbitrage sales into the Caerleon Black Market buy orders. The Black Market buys gear autonomously to feed mob loot drops.
- Market Fees & Taxes: Fees are loaded directly from the current snapshot header (typically 2.5% setup fee for listing sell orders, and 8% sales tax, reduced to 4% for Premium accounts). Instant flips do not pay setup fees because they sell directly into existing buy orders.
